    lets see them motorcycles

Picked this up last Friday. Wanted the 901 Norden from Husky, but trying to find any new bike is impossible. Everything's sold out or not getting new stock in. This is a 2011 with 30,000 miles. Looks like new. Well taken care of. Ride it until hopefully things calm down. then upgrade. Didn't...

    Horseradish

Good stuff! Real men don't cry, unless you're grinding up horseradish.

    New buggy

Picked this up a week ago. 2021. Mule trans. 617cc. Wish I could afford a cab, but for 5k, it'll wait.

    Antique tractor thread

1952 Super A I picked up a couple weeks ago. Have to change the differential in the rear end as the bushing for one of the spider gears is worn out. Have one on the way. Getting prepped for paint.

    Few things are doing good

Potatoes and cabbage are loving the cool wet summer. My onions, not so much.

Anyone else here that can't stand the US Postal Service?

My local postmaster is nothing but a nosy busy-body. Got her nose in everyone's business. Buddy of mine was trying to mail something and she was acting like she didn't have a clue as to what he wanted. He stormed out to go get a pen out of the truck. She was yakking on the phone when he came in...

    So my local dealers.....

Why I just picked up a J-red 2258 from my local dealer. Could have got it cheaper elsewhere, but they know their stuff. Purchased a Stihl weedwhacker this summer from one of the local dealers. Young kid working there, figured he wouldn't know squat, but knew the machines and when I went back for...

    New saw

Sorry! Wanted to do some cutting before the pics.

    New saw

Pulled the trigger on a new J-red 2258. Traded the Solo in with the deal. Told my dealer I had been looking at the 2255, and he shook his head side to side and said they're junk. Has one in right now that's only a year old, and it leaks like a sieve between the cases. He won't even carry the...

    Jonsered saws

gonna look at the cs2258. 2258 actually weighs about 1/2lb less than the 2255. Gonna trade my Solo 656 in on one. Like my Solo, but it is a gas hog! Now, I think the crank seals are going in it. Surging at idle, carb adjustment yields nothing, running hot. Only made a few cuts since it started...

    Jonsered saws

Looking to get a J-red cs2255. Reading reviews on TSC, Most of the negatives were oil leaking out of the oil tank just sitting. Just wondering on their quality now that Tractor Supply is selling them. I'll purchase it from my local dealer first, and I know he'll take care of any problems. Anyone...

Oh 64 rebuild.... On the cheap.

Nice find. Love hearing mine just idling in the woods. Gotta get a chain brake for it, though. You're gonna enjoy it!

    Differences between 026 models ?

Good luck getting any sensible answers on here about your 026 carb. Most will tell you you have an air leak.

    026 carb issue

The mix needles are turning. I checked their adjustment before and after. After I disassembled the saw and adjusted them with the carb out, at least one of them has no resistance on it and turns freely.

    026 carb issue

Have an 026. Not an AV, but not the pro because it doesn't have a decomp. Problem is the carb mix needles aren't staying adjusted. Adjustment lasts about 5 minutes and they've moved and it runs like crap. Just wondering if I can get new springs or if the plastic piece the springs screw into has...

ok,, call me stupid and ignorant and kick me in the sack

Don't feel bad. Picked up a 2171 a few weeks ago. Bought a new $80 bar and a new chain. Noticed a little oil in the tank when it ran out of gas. So I opened the oiler up a hair. Was noodling some large rounds when I noticed the chain seemed to be getting tight. Figured the noodles were gumming...
