    Stihl TS400

Got 16 of these in my shop all but one needed crank bearings you need 6202 and 6203 c3 bearings if your replacing them. Take the cylinder off most likely there will be plating lost on one or both sides, this will cause a lack of compression. The exhaust is totally normal happens to all of...

got 3 359 Etechs all with same issues

I had a 359 with the same problems, it recieved a 346xp carb and a 350 intake boot only reason for the 350 intake boot as the inpulse line was pinched on the 359 probably the orginal problem but it all seemed to work fine even with the 346 carb idle and accelerated fine.

    029 Crank Bearing

yes a normal 6203 bearing will work but may not have the plastic insert that holds the balls but a metal one. I have used non stihl bearings and it seems to be fine. Just make sure you buy a 6203 C3 bearing as the c3 is the clearance it needs for high tempratures etc .

    My 3 saw score tonight

The cut off saw is a Dolmar 309 I currently have one sitting in my garage in need of a set of rings. I have rebuilt many of them and they are probably the most bullet proof saw that I have ever had. They also weigh a ton so not really comparable to the newer stuff.

Stihl 064 clutch side crank bearing problems bearing holder detached ?

Stihl 064 clutch side crank bearing problems bearing holder detached ?

Afternoon all I have just bought a Stihl 064 with a scored piston. The cylinder was fine but the piston was scored. After tearing into the saw I thing I have found the cause of the problem. It seems that on the clutch side bearings there was excessive play. So I split the cases and sure...

Has anybody got a Stihl 088 Recoil Starter, Cylinder and Muffler ?

Anyone got both of these items laying around. Iam thinking of buying a saw with these parts missing just seeing if anybody has the parts before I buy. The cost of new is way to rich for my kind of use. I will pay everything and shipping to the uk. Cheers Simon
