    Not worth the hassel to mess with limbs IMO. Have a tree service do all work. You get rid of firewood & it's all done. :D

    I just got a 036 oem piston for 49.00 plus 6.95 shipped from saw salvage. Crazy how prices can vary that much.

    What did you have to pay for 036 OEM piston? I called my local dealer & they wanted $125.00.

    I needed the exercise, the wood had wire in it.

    Not worth the effort, wear & tear, safety of operator. Find something else to cut.

    Lopi Wood stoves.

    I have owned my Revere insert since we purchased it new, over 15 years ago. I've replaced the three round tubes with holes in them, & replaced all the metal above the bricks in stove. Overall I don't think you can't go wrong with a Lopi Stove. The stoves are made here in Mukilteo,Wa by Travis...

    After finally getting my air compressor set at the lowest possible setting, 10psi is when I used soapy water from a spray bottle to find fly wheel side leak. I then called my local stihl guy and dropped off my saw for new seals. I was trying so hard to be careful with how much air I used to...

    I would like to thank you guys for all your help. I believe the mystery has been solved, after adding pressure to saw & soap testing seals I found the problem to be the seal on the flywheel side. Lots of bubbles coming from seal.

    When I took the cylinder/piston off the saw it showed no issues other than where the clip ripped up the cylinder/piston.
