The 241 will sell for $595 in Canada. Good price, the 242 Husqvarnas were going for $725 here in the 1990's.

254 beats the 55 hands down. Even the closed port 55 was below the semi pro saws. Listed as a landowner saw in literature up here. The 254 was not overlooked up North. It was the #1 selling saw in Canada for a several years.

I have owned over 20 154-254 xp saws in my logging days. Great saws. One of my all time favorites. Specs, weight and handling of the 261 are similar. I like the 261 better however. Better av and filter. To me the 261 is what the replacement for the 254 should have been.

Brad, where is your CM made US or Germany?

We ordered 12 regular 261s Friday. The warehouse was empty and we got the CM instead. When your dealer reorders the CM be sent.

You don't have to come to me. Every dealer up here can have them now. Regular 261 is long gone.

We got 12 261 M-tronics this morning. Selling at $649 with Wood Pro kit. Same price as regular 261's were last week.

I have the remains of a big bore 357 here. Brother in law had it. 272 on a 357 case. Built by Gilles Levesque. Ran nice for a few years.

Brad, are both versions of 261 going to be available? If I understand correctly up here once the stock of carb 261s are gone it will be CM only.
