    Problem with Stihl ms250

Yea that is why i was so aggravated with the dealer out here. I asked them how is it my fault that it doesn't work and the salesman simply replied "well how is it my fault?"

    Problem with Stihl ms250

The reason i don't think it is oiling enough is because when i am finish cutting, my bar and chain are bone dry, also a few of the links on my chain have ceased up. I managed to break free all but one.

    Problem with Stihl ms250

They have a dealer down the road from me back home so probably over my spring break i'll take it over there and see what they can say. When i called stihl they said the dealer should have a tool to measure how much oil is being pumped by the oil pump, but my dealer mentioned nothing about that.

    Problem with Stihl ms250

It's nothing against Stihl products, Stihl makes some of the best chainsaws out there, i think i might have just gotten a lemon. And i think that Stihl thinks a little to highly of their product that they look at me as a kid who doesn't know how to properly operate a saw and I'm doing something...

    Problem with Stihl ms250

Alright thanks guys I'll try all these things out this weekend. My main frustration was just that it was a brand new saw and it wasn't performing and stihl said they couldn't do anything and wouldn't give me my money back even though it was within the 7 day "money back guarantee." But...

    Problem with Stihl ms250

Yea we did aim the tip of the saw at a clean piece of wood and a tiny little bit of oil flung off if any... I did take the bar and chain off, ran it at about half throttle and oil did leak out of one of the ports yesterday, but before when i was running it there was no oil on the bar, chain, or...

    Problem with Stihl ms250

First of all I know all of you are probably going to say I should have bought a pro saw, but the simple fact is, is that i can't afford one right now and needed something better than my homelite. So I bought a brand new Stihl ms250 last Wednesday and used it for the first time on Thursday and...

Whats best tool to split By hand ?

Yea i definitely agree. I bought the fiskars super splitting axe and i was AMAZED. I put it to work on some pecan about 18" in diameter, it took about 8 swings and it split, after that, every piece split with one hit. One really good advantage with that axe is it doesn't stick in the wood...

What kind of wood is this?

I split the mysterious maple or beech wood today and it was very stringy. The hydo splitter had no problem with it but there is no way it was being done by hand and axe. The wood also was farely white with a hint of red tint to it

    CAD Strikes Husky 445

Glad to see yall like this saw. But on another forum one guy posted that his chain was loosening very easily even though he had tightened it pretty tight. He blamed it for only having one bolt to tighten. Have any of yall had this problem with your saws? This will most likely be my next saw...
