SAFTY Chaps saved one of my guy's legs

Well chalk up another leg saved by chaps today. One of my guys trimming a tree for fire wood got his left leg mid thigh. Chaps stopped the saw and worked great. I would estimate a savings of $40K. Not bad for a pair of $60 chaps. I have pics of the chaps I can text. Ray

    Stihl 661

Well got my 661 today. Ran a tank through it. I love it. Stronger than my built 660 and 066. That's the good news. Brought it home didn't think nothing about it. Was making dinner and my 4y/o son comes in and says "look at your new saw daddy". My 5y/o daughter put her stickers all over it. $1100...

    4 way wedge

Well I was given a 4 way wedge for my spliter. It was not an exact fit to the wedge on the troy built 27ton spliter that I have. But I figured I would give it a try. All was good at first no problem. Then along came a knot that I didn't see. Broke the back strap off of it. Whoops. No big deal...

I went to the VA today for a fallow up on my right wrist. While I was waiting I was talking to another former Marine. While shooting the breeze we both cut fire wood. He then stated to me that he got the wrong chains from Stihl this morning and asked me if I wanted them. I said sure. Didn't even...
