check around to a few different dealers too. I needed some clutch pieces and one dealer wanted to charge over $20 more then the other dealer.

I ran across a stihl 650 with a 36 inch bar and chain. I was wondering what is the most anyone would give for this saw. It looks to be like new. It has a stihl bar and chain that looks to be "new" also. also is there really any differences in the 660 and 650?? and why would stihl make 2...

I have a 390. It seems to be a good "mid sized" saw. I did a muffler mod and it does everything I ask of it. I sometimes wish I had a bigger or smaller saw, but this one is great for that one saw. I picked mine up used (looks like new, and runs like new) for $300. had a stihl case also.

I have a trimmer just like your brushcutter. The thing was a pain to get to run right until the muffler broke in half. dont know how it happened but it runs better now! little power for such a big motor

they dont sell big saws in the piedmont on NC either. but if you go to the mountains they are a lot easier to find. I've saw a couple 880's new. now if I could find a tree big enough for a saw that size.

I bought a ms390 a couple of months ago for a little over $300 . I muffler modded it and it runs like a dream. I say offer $240 and take it no matter if he budges or not! sounds like a good price on a good saw for you!

the ms391 looks pretty good with a 28" bar. also it is the first time I have noticed the differences in the look compared to the ms390 tt

im pretty sure it is the rear handle, I havent saw the saw only what he told me

ok guys I rebuilt the carb and it is getting gas. but it still wont run. I think I have a bad coil. Any way you can test it? It is getting "fire" but I still think it is bad. I just dont want to buy a coil if that isnt the problem

no one has a handle? or knows where to get one at a decent price?

A guy contacted me today and needs a handle for a 028 av. A tree fell on it and I'm not sure how far back it landed on the saw but he said he needed the handle. If anyone has one they want to sell I can pm you my or his #. Thanks for the help guys

guy has a mac 610. he said tryed to fix the carb and lost it. wants to sell it to me for $10. Is this saw worth the trouble? If it is the one I found on the net it weighs around 20lbs. and is a 60cc.
