Dang if I was a rich man

Sure I’d rather have a New gen saw for working. But hey, this was the 60cc King of the day back then. As Someone Said there is not alot of those left. Collectors item! Or at least will be. So if you do not know what this is, simple leave it alone and buy something current to play with. This...

Can I burn my used logsplitter hydraulic oil in my home oil tank?

Sure you can, do it myself. If I exeed 10% I have to preheat the burner. You better predilute it before pouring it in. You do not want it to settle at the bottom. Motorsen

    Wood ID time

Poplar/aspen. Leave it to rot! If wet near the ground it will be gone very fast. Splits like a pain and holds lots of water when fresh. Not worth the effort in my book. Motorsen

What qualifies a tractor or machine as "flimsy"?

You have a flimsy machine when it's not strong enough or styrdy enough for the job you are putting it up to. And then some elcheapo crap machines are just flimsy what ever job you put them up to. But it seems to be the deffnition to me anyway. Motorsen

    Fall 2017 firewood season progression

Raise your asking price for your wood. Demand will drop to a manageable level and profit will go up. Less wear and tear on you and I bet more money in ya pocket at the end of the day. Ofcourse you should not sky rocket your prices but raise by lets say 15-20%. Try it and all the price runners...

    No fire tonight!

Well if you weren't in a real good shape you would just flat out die not even half way through the trip!!! Whaauu that's sheer crazy temps there. Now I understand why you ride a bike to commute. If you rode your car it would get a heatstroke over the first crest! Do Aussie cars get an oversized...

    Blaze King "thermometer"

No it's the T spot! It's also a better ocupation fumbling with the T spot as you can combine it with liberal amounts of refreshments. Motorsen

lets c picture of your wood heat source in action

WOOW Valley! You must be able to fire that pipeline to redhot glowing with that load of wood. That thing must be pretty sturdy what is the wall thickness of such a pipe? Low tech and heavy duty! Motorsen

running pumps in series on an owb

One could make a parallel install with a ball valve on each branch to hook up one or the other pump on the line. Maybe a valve on each side of the pumps so one can be changed/serviced in no hurry. Just a thought that would make sense to me. Motorsen

Ground frozen and trees on the ground

By the way nice work Erik! Nice that you choose the bucket solution instead of rigging some Hill Billy solution under the plenty consumption of refreshments. Only to end up in an Youtube situation with the wife standing with crossed arms to yell at you "It was as I told you, I knew it all the...

Ground frozen and trees on the ground

Just put in a couple of wedges in the end of the infected piece of wood. Assume that you cut it on each side of the post where there were thought to be clean wood. So that the piece is 3-4 foot long. Shouldn't be a problem to split and it will must probably reveal the bandit hidding it the...

    Sugar Maple, Beech or what?

Argghh look like aspen to me. The bright white wood and the leaves on the ground. Beech in the first pictures based on the the colour of the wood but the bark didn't add up.
