Yes a few times, this is a typical response. Good afternoon, Thank you for your email, I have had a look into this for you and I can see we have had some issue with freight and way parts have arrived to us. Unfortunately, your part was supplied incorrectly sand I have had to reorder this for...

    Looking at a 090

They never had a chainbrake, what you're looking at is simply a hand guard. Similar to some of the 08's.

Selling to the public - do you sign anything?

If I sell something secondhand I write a receipt stating, Received from xxxxxx the sum of $xxxx being for one "article" sold AS IS with no Warranty Expressed or Implied. I use a carbon paper book and make them sign it, no signature, no sale. I keep my copy with their signature, and they can...

hypothetical, do Arborist make a difference?

If you stop being arborists you're lessening your risk and sparing yourselves. If you stop removing hazards it would have to increase public risk. I'd look at like this, back in the '70's we did a lot of tree work (hazard reduction) around the Dandenong Ranges picnic grounds, there were 3 or 4...

Let's See Your Farm Equipment Pics!

Not sure when they started FWA but I bought it new in 1983. I sold it about ten years ago, and funnily it turned up at a local dealer just before Christmas, amazing what a coat of paint will do! The other two were built around 1965.

Control killing of limb over high voltage power line

Hmmm, usually the power mobs clear them themselves on roadsides and residential streets in my area, (Yarra Valley) Probably better to drill it and inject it neat into the limb.

I was looking in the shed for a sander, couldn't find it but I found a couple more drills. The one on it's own would have to be at least 50 yo, is 3/8 capacity and single speed.

Hi Folks, thought I'd post some pics of an old drill I forgot I had in the back shed, it was made in Melbourne Australia about 70 years ago.

    Stihl 090 Identification

090's also have a larger starter housing than an 070.

    084 versus 090 versus 076

I agree, there's something strange here, those pics in post #62 are opposites. I don't think you could put the clutch on backwards as there is no recess in the housing to fit it, these have to be different saws.
