    Poulan 530036054 starter pulley needed!

Is there a way to replay without quote? The part is not looking good. I've got a couple of feelers out to check junk piles but new seems impossible unless someone can help me pull one out of hat by magic.

OE bar and chain is 20". Did you mean 20LPX? My big work saw is 3500 (3.7CI 60cc) with 20" 3/8 pitch. When chains/bar are worn out I will consider longer for big trunk. But the saw gets a bit heavy after awhile, not something to limb and brush with. The 2750 (2.8CI), also 20", is a bit...

.325 vs .375 There any expert information on which to run? The chain on the 2750 is still in pretty good shape, 33SL, but the drive looks a bit worn, enough that I'd not want a new chain on it. A bit of checking, it appears that I can convert to rim sprocket and think I'd rather have that but...

Other crazy possibilities it won't come off idle. I replaced fuel line on machine and after running for awhile I could not get it off idle. Maybe there was a difference in fuel line from OE. Where it came out of tank the inside diameter had decreased to the point it was fuel starved. I was back...

I snapped a couple and hope they show where the cover rubbed the side exhaust port. Will attempt upload when time permits. I'm still pondering the fix and will have two options at least since vendor is sending me another muffler assembly. I'm hoping that side piece is better stamped allowing it...

Iwas staying in the area of what I perceived as wood equipment. But who says chainsaw is more dangerous than farming? An uncle got wrapped in PTO of corn picker, several hours. Closed casket. A friend of Dad's got caught in hay cutter. One with driven rollers to crush hay stalk so it dries...

None of you professional modders have an opinion? They are shipping me another muffler, which will fix the side exhaust port hitting plastic cover, maybe. That is if they stamped the holes for bolting up in the wrong location. Or if the spot welded side piece was not properly stamped. I don't...

speel check changed sharpener to sharpened. Glad someone understood the potential consequence of that incident. For those who don't know what a farm hay and corn chopper is, think of one of those wood chippers that they grind small stuff into the back of a truck with. Everyone of those I've...

I can, not saw but farm hay and corn chopper with sharpening stone. Nine 24" long whirling knives. I leaned across to store the sharpened and felt a tug. The whole side of my shirt from the arm pit down was missing. Almost 50 years ago and it still rattles me when I think of it.

I bought a few parts toward putting saws together, among them muffler for 3500. I hate engineers that don't know what they are doing. That darned replacement muffler does not fit! I was putting top cover back on and found that side exhaust port holds the plastic cover away not to mention the...

Can you tell me what the differences are between the "A", "AV", & "AVX"? I noted those designations in ads for different models and there just was not enough info to determine the nuances.

Are the wheels spin one direction only? Might want to consider mask. Breathing in any of that metalic dust could be quite bad and if you need an MRI it could be quite bad.

I should have added the caution about reversing spin. I thought of it, although that video did not mention such and it appeared to be a professional sharpening shop because of other grinders in background. A high speed spinning disk getting turned loose could definitely ruin a day. And wearing...

Bailey's is apparently out of stock on that one. After much effort, since it is not listed under current grinders, I managed to get it to come up. Baileys has a review comparing it to the non-Chinese 511ax. They pretty much nixed it giving a long list of issues compared to the Italian one. I did...

Semi-gloss, better at standing up I hope. Do you have any extra chromed ones? You might check Zama or Walbro or whoever made the carb. They used to have some literature explaining limits, etc for carb models. If outside the standard limits, they gave an exclamation and ideas as to what was...

OMG, I gave myself such a headache. Over thinking or too much data or something. Turns out that is not the only chain that is supposed to get that 10 degree down, as if holding file handle 10 degrees down. That is per Oregon, but they have a caveat that says to hold level if using an Oregon file...
