    Stihl and Jonsered both run well. Partner starts and idles well but breaks up on top.

    Found these local today. An old fellow had them and he was put in a home so they were selling his stuff off. I think I did ok. This is Canada, so Canadian dollars. Everything seems to be there. Didn't try to run them yet. Can any of you tell me if I did well? What they're worth? Issues, etc...

    That's what I don't understand. Light on oil? Saw is in super shape. I doubt it had 50 hours on it.

    Nothing in bottom end. Bearings are good. Looks to be quite a low hour saw.

    Well I went to tune the saw and it would run out of fuel. Take top off saw runs well. I found I routed the fuel line wrong ( I didn't disassemble saw, dealer did) and it was getting pinched by cover. Routed fuel line properly and it runs. Tuned saw and cut a 18" spruce that had fallen in the...

    When to replace a piston?

    One inch is 25.4 mm. So acceptable is .04mm to .1mm I had .25mm to .53mm depending where I took the measurements.

    A name brand top handle is $600+ here. My joncutter was less than 1/3 of that.
