    Catalpa Part 2

    Very easy to mill. I got through the whole log without a need to sharpen, 9 passes total. Each pass took about 10 minutes, slabs are 13' long 3" thick 42" wide at butt about 52" at crotch.

    Yes, nice looking stuff & easy to mill. The homeowner painted the ends after we left. Once the butt log is milled all will be moved for kiln drying. I'll keep a couple slabs for myself & air dry.
