So you have CAD! And a WIFE! What have you had to do to keep the peace? Here is one!

Well at least you used the logical method, rather then the CAD getting the best of you and cutting down the tree with a recently acquired saw. PS: My dearest sympathies for the dropped beer

What brand do you run most?

Got plenty of different saw's in the garage, but when it's time to work, gotta go with Husky.

    coils

You could always take a trip to your local Auto store and buy a spark-tester. They have one's at Napa for under $10. OR, you could always undo the plug (with the plug boot still on it), hold the plug on the top of the cylinder and give a pull to see spark....

    too-lless chain tensioner. huh???

Agreed. I'd rather take the 4 or so minutes and do it the "old-fashioned" way, rather then some new-fangled crap!

    Chuck Norris--Treehugger V. Chainsaw

:agree2: That Bruce Lee was one bad mama-jamma! Norris is overrated.

Does this guy hang out in here?

I ordered some Stihl parts from him a month or so ago. E-mailed him some questions and he e-mailed me back that night. Ships fast and got everything I needed. Never had a problem personally.

    Oleo-Mac 272F manual

Welcome to AS Steve! If you look at the top of the chainsaw forum, you'll see a thread called "The Beg for Manuals Thread". Just post the make and model of saw your looking for and your almost guaranteed someone has a manual or parts list for your saw that they can send to you. Good luck.

    Chainsaw Garage

My old man had an Avanti when he was in high school. Said it was one of the fastest card he ever drove (he also had a 71' Corvette w/ the 454). He also had a few Lark's too.

Easy to start saw for the wife

Husqvarna 340. Very easy to start and work with. Light and easy to run for a few hours at a time. Good for felling smaller trees, and cutting firewood. I have one with a 16" bar and it's never giving me any problems, and I bought it new in 2001 and it's cut a ton of hard-wood.
