I tried to get rid of some of that flaky paint by filling the gas tank half full of bb's and spraying some carb cleaner in there, closing the cap, and shaking over and over......and over......... helped but just got loose stuff off.

Up here in NW Minnesotahhhhh, the .058 was the standard set up at the shop my dad bought his Jonsereds at. From the 621 to the 920. Just like the air fittings in his shop, I used what I knew and purchased the same fittings.....and BARS for .058. In hindsight, .050 would have been better only...

I converted my white top to a Jonsered 630 top and air filter. Easier access to air filter and better filtration, in my opinion. I did have to rig a home made choke(zip tie), but works great. bought 2 of them for $20 each almost 15 years ago. Carb kit and was good to go. Still going and cut...

The 910E had to have had the WORST throttle handle design known to man. What were those engineers thinking? Less weight or less brainpower?😂

I was able to adapt a switch used for disarming a remote start system. Fit the hole and I think I found clips that connected to the stator wires. But, that was almost 15 years ago……

I’m a bit rusty on the Johnny’s now, but I don’t remember ever talking about a 530 back when I was on a lot. Same frame as the 630? The 520sp was nothing special, but have never come across a 530. Lay it on me Robin. 😊
