    Wal-Mart Poulan Pro Synthetic oil

My supplier of Amsoil recently passed away from cancer. So I figured I'd get some of this Poulan Synthetic oil from Wally World that says Weedeater. But yesterday I went over to Wal-Mart and see that the 2 cycle oil I'd bought doesn't say "synthetic" on the bottle. Anyone seen this or use the...

What temperature does your wood stove run at to heat your home?

My Tempwood usually runs between 450 and 550 degrees. I can get it hotter by just opening the disc's on top of the stove that cover the downdraft tubes, but usually this is the temp the stove! runs at. This is burning mostly oak. Hassle from neighbors burning wood?

:blob2: I recently had a neighbor move out after a 4 year battle over my burning wood. What a relief!!! They went to everybody except the FBI trying to shut me down. They would call up at midnight complaining of my smoke. We've been in this house for 18 years. The whole time burning wood...

Makita 6401 conversion for saw mill

I bought a brand new, if you can believe it, Makita 6401 at HD rental dept. last fall for $150. The chain was on backwards so the clerk said it wouldn’t run right. I kid you not! I’d been going in there for 2yrs looking for a used one, thanks to the advice I received here. I want to put a Meteor...
