    along time ago I asked the quetsion about stihl 391 and husqavana 570 and got talked up to a 361/2 now I asked the question about a 362 and a 381 and im getting talked up to the next model how odd I wounder where this path will lead me :laugh: :msp_unsure:

    362 or 381 or 391 weight not an issue cutting up to 25inch pine cutting 5-6cord a year.

    hi i was looking at buying a or husqvana 570 or a stihl 391 for fire wood 5 - 6 cord a year from small to 25" size now i have found a 2nd hand 372xp saw about 5 or 6 years old is there anyting that i should look out for . which one should i go for new stihl 391 new husqvana 570...

    I live in new zealand we still have choice (just) so if both had a 20inch bar then the 391 would do the same job as 381

    but one is a 72cc 3.9kw saw and the other is only 64cc 3.3kw so has the 64cc saw got the same amount of torque as the 72cc saw

    i went to the stihl dealer the other day to find out what size bars the ms 391 and ms 381 will run and he pulled out a chart made by stihl and it said that both saws can go up to a 25 inch bar. I would have thought that the ms 381 would have been bigger any thought or comments on this:confused:

    well im looking at replaceing my first lerner craftsman 55cc saw and want the best my money can afford there is only $50 diffrence i will be cutting small up to 25 inchs in size about 5 or 6 cord a year i do not care about weight as i will not be using it all day long it will be a 20inch bar...
