My 181 does not use a wire for the Carb. I'll take a pic later.

Hi everyone It's been a while, since a last posted, or visited the site. Can some of you tell me if a 281/288 Carb will fit a 181 SE?

I care most about the HP specs! Not that I don´t find the weight important, I really do, but the weight specs are never true, at least that´s my experience with most saws! If the HP specs are true, is harder to prove/unprove!

Onlu bought my 435 from new, so can´t claim warranty! As for the 435, it´s a bit funny, the part of the filter, where the mesh is, is yellow, the upper part is black :msp_unsure: But i believe, since the mesh part is yellow, it´s a yellow filter..

Mine got the little room in the rear handle! also some pics in the IPL, of "something" that goes in there! Thanks for the air filter number, all my saws have the yellow one, and all of them came with the black one!

Take a look at this muffler, very easy to open up some more! And the exhaust dosen´t come out up under the hood, so it won´t get burned! eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace Although it dosen´t say so, it WILL fit the 2153.

Believe me, I`ll hang on to it with my nails by now!! The low weight of that saw is just unbelieveable!

It should fit, but some say you maybe need to grind a little, othervise the brakeband will drag to the Clutch! BTW On the UK Ebay there has been a complete brake, with plastic handle, that was stated to fit the 181! HUSQVARNA 181 se 181se CHAIN BRAKE SPROCKET - CLUTCH | eBay
