    Air Leak Question

I have one of these saws- so far so good. I remember reading that on early models, a metal ring was missing on the air boot. I don't remember all the details, but it was a couple dollar part that solved a lot of folks problems. Also, I think Dolmar came out with a technical update to help...

    Mastermind Revisits The 346XP

What kind of metal is on your work bench? I assume its galvanized, but it doesn't look the same as what I'm seeing in pics. What I'm looking at has a speckled pattern. Yours looks better.

    Rim sprocket- which way?

I always assumed that it could go either way. That way you could flip it over now and then to even out wear. I thought that was one of the benefits of using a rim sprocket. Guess I was wrong.

    WKY GTG Fall 2012

Hey! I had a good time at the GTG- good to see everybody and all the saws. Thanks to the Wiggs for having me out. The BBQ was great and there was lots of good desserts. I had about three helpings of four different desserts and there was a bunch more I didn't try. Then on the way home I stupidly...

Mculloch PM 610 odd exhaust port?

I've got a 610 parts saw that I haven't tried to crank. I checked compression and it was about 100 psi, but the piston and rings look good. It has two small rings, I thought maybe one looked stuck. The cylinder also has the v- notch. Since it acts as a decompression valve when cranking, could...

You know whats going to happen- take a look. - YouTube I tell you those beans at the last GTG were almost a meal theirself- they were...

    Shipping to Canada

A guy wanted me to ship a saw to Canada. He wanted me to declare its value less than selling price. Any of you guys ever do this? Also how do you describe the saw on the paper work? Both declaring a lesser value and describing the saw as something else is giving false info. Of course its...

    The official W.Ky Buildoff Poll

I don't have anything to swap, but I'm looking for Ryobi 31cc weed wackers. I think newer versions are also branded McCulloch and Troybilt like here We've Got Engines! The trimmer part doesn't have to work, needs to have good compression and potential to run. I'm also looking for a McCulloch...

Whats the best leak down kit?

I got one of these Silverline Elite Hand Vacuum / Pressure Pump MITMV8500 | eBay It produces pressure and vacuum with the flip of a switch, but I don't like the gauge much- it does the job ok. It also comes with extras, rubber plugs etc.- they come in handy.

Maybe Wiggs or Young you can rework the list back at post #688 page 46 so people can start signing up because its only 2 weeks away. I didn't want to do it because that list involves paying for chain. Looks like Subhunter is #7 and FarmerBoy is #8. I suggest you post up the title, date and city...

    026 - Newbie Muffler Mod question w/Pics

Check this thread out. http://www.arboristsite.com/chainsaw/82345.htm On page two, Lakeside suggested to drill the holes out instead of removing all the material. That's what I did on mine. I think he said 5/16", but better reread the thread. I can't say which is the best, but I would do what...
