Great people to work with, just changed eng to the ch1000-3000, hardened crank and other updates on it over the ch980, had to shorten the shaft as eng is made for many applications, no big deal, it was an easy swap, good advice from msgtbob66...... Bob....:barbecue:

Had the same problem on the big block kohler on my bandit, it was fuel pump, after finally convincing bandit that it was the fuel pump they replaced with elec fuel pump, no problems since, about 200 hrs ago......hope this helps... Bob....:barbecue:

Nothing is more important on a low hp machine than sharp teeth imo... I had a sc252 at one time, it was a good machine, but I can't emphasize enough the need for sharp teeth, or it will bog down, prematurely wear out your belts and bearings, hope this helps.. Bob.....:barbecue:

This is exactly what I do, I grind down 8-12 inches and run roots until they are underground and cannot be hit with lawn mower, I show customer exactly what I will do b4 bidding on job and get their approval, sweetgum trees especially may have roots out 10ft all around the stump, if they start...

If some pockets came loose when u broke the tooth, that could cause a vibration in the wheel, a broken tooth alone would not do it,,,,also be sure to clean out debris around the swing cylinders ever day, if they build up and harden it will break the shafts on swing cylinders and also cause...

I am using a 660 with a 32" bar for stumping, on very large stumps with large root systems I grind the roots away first to leave a clean stump to cut, after about 1/3 of the way thru the stump I start wedges in, back the saw out about an inch every once in a while to clear the chips, make sure...

I try to bid my jobs to make 100 per hr, down here a 36 in stump would be 50-60 dollars, most guys doing stumps for 10 each, it's tough to make a buck in this market right now, every market is different and every stump is different, so one answer won't fit all, I just look at a job and fig how...

Yes, its already out on the smaller engines and the 38hp is out now... Bob.....:barbecue:

Acc to my dealer kohler is coming out with a 38hp efi eng to rep the carb engine as they have had so much trouble with it, mine went out at 545 hrs and they replaced it with a new long block but no guarantee, wish I had known about the new efi eng, better yet I should have gone diesel.... so...

I have had 2 big tex trlrs, a 16ft and my present 12ft that I use to haul my grinder and all tools that go with it, never any problems, well built trlrs.... Bob....:barbecue:
