I bought my 22 ton last December. Love it. I got mine through an online service. Woodsplittersdirect.com I think. I got the Honda engine but I have a Subaru on a new Supersplit that I Like just as well. My I&O isnt fast cycle but I wish I would have gotten that feature. The machine is great...

Build more fence or move to the country? A**hat neighbors...

I can tell ya if the busy body tried to tell me what I could do on my property she better have city ordinance to back t up. Without that, as a penalty for her nosiness, I would force her to move her items at HER expense. I would also secure a lease of some sort to protect my interest on quarry...

How often do you run your saws?

Old gas is bad, stabil or not, and a gallon of gas is cheaper than a piston. X2....galded the piston in my 575xp couple of days ago...my stihl saws have been much more forgiving:msp_wink:

Do you cart your splitter around with you?

Just a simple angle iron bracket will pull most common splitters. I pulled mine many miles. I have done it exactly like you're describing and with much success.

    Finally? My wood got wet

The drought will bring you plenty more wood to cut. Hardwoods are dead everywhere you look around here. Our summer last year was what you are dealing with now.

Mine is exactly the same Bigblock. Slow but reliable. I usually turn the kids loose with it and run my Iron and Oak myself.

    new saw!

yes, I find is to be the best for my cutting. The 250 does well with it. I run 440 and 460 saws regularly but wanted a lighter limbing saw. I run the same type chain on all of them.

    new saw!

I like the 250 just fine and run full chisel chain. I needed a saw in a hurry and just bought one on the run. I prefer commercial grade saws and while I like the 250 I have a 261 on the wish list.
