You’d need 2mm wide material on both sides of the stud. You’re needing to upsize by 4mm total. You can get a strip of 2mm thick material and heat it with a torch and then wrap your studs in an “S” pattern and you’d be done.
2mm = 5/64in
Just got my bars they are super close to a Tsumura 404 063 I have. Like 1/4-3/8” longer is all. Tail on these bars are E099 size in width, my previous D033 bars had thinner tails like a D009 with a 14mm slot. Can be used for either Dolmar or Stihl. My Carlton/Tsumura 30” bar that uses Carlton B3...
Yea I had 4-5x NOS sdc85’s in my Poulan box of stuff for some reason… oops. They do fit but the throttle and choke rods would need to be adjusted for proper operation.
Just to tease… I did find a nos sdc-80 in my box but only have one (NFS).
You are correct but the SDC-85’s(?) aren’t far behind… a little bit of jet work takes care of the difference. I have 5-6 NOS 85’s and one might be sacrificed to find a good jet size.

I still have two 655BP’s in the shop and will be keeping at least one. Both have the gas oil separator plug fallen out. One is on the bench now with cases split to get a proper plug fix done along with new seals and fuel lines.
I sharpen literally 100’s of chains a year and never had a complaint... If that’s the way he wants to sharpen chains, then he can stay the hell away from my saws because I can dull my own chains without his help.
