    Won't start when hot.

Homelite 360 just back from the shop after pulse line, carb throat, etc. repair. Starts fine cold. One pull choked and then another pull and she fires right up. Runs and cuts fine too, but when I shut her down for gas and oil she won't restart hot. Let her cool off 30 minutes or so and then one...

    Best time to cut wood?

I've also heard of 'sectioning' and 'knocking a log apart'. Here in SW MO I start cutting after the first hard freeze (usually late Oct.)and leave the woods when the ticks start moving again in March. I'm running late this year but almost have all of next winter's wood cut and stacked (a...

    Homelite 360 is running!!!.........but dies

Just got my 360 back from the shop. I had replaced the rotten rubber carb throat myself but could not get the carb adjusted correctly. They found the pluse vent hose (?) was also rotten and also replaced the rubber diaphram inside the carb. Now she runs better than new.

    Homelite 360 has no spark

Before tearing into the saw, try a shot of starter fluid and give her a pull. If she fires you may have a ripped rubber carb throat. (Happened to me.) $10 fix.

    old mower

Since this is already off topic a bit, thought I'd add to it. Looking for a grass catcher for my restored Ariens 925000 rear engine mower. Side bag, rear bag, front wieght, whatever you got I'll look at.

    Repairing Magnesium?

I fixed the damper on my wood stove with my daughter's elastic pony tail holder. (New mechanism was $300!!) Fix is still working good five years later.

    Firewood question

The adult is only 1/4 inch long (true the grub might be a tad bit longer) and the holes they leave behind are 1/32 to 1/16 th inch. I'd hate to try and get that on a hook. :dizzy:

    McCulloch Super 44A

Picked up an old '59-60 vintage Mac Super 44A a few years ago used in the Missouri bootheel to clear out swamps. Got it running pretty good now and with its 24" bar is my 'big mama' saw. Found a bunch of info on the web but nothing on $$$. Just curious what its worth (if anything). Thanks...

How do I check spark on homelite 360?

Sorry for the late post, had a little trouble with the forum registration. I also have the 360. Was cutting good (although I was having to run it half choked to get any power) and set it down to split a few. Next time I picked it up it wouldn't start. Thought ignition too but gave it a shot...
