Cbn wheel heating tooth when sharpening please help

I use an abrasive belt Eraser. Works just as well for grinding wheels as it does belts. Worked just fine to restore original performance for my CBN from diamond wheel that was getting clogged from dirty/oily chains too. Their Cheap and last for many years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Stihl MS261 or Husqvarna 545?

It has become my most used saw and is indispensable to me. If I'm in anything 24 inches and over I'm usually reaching for my 562/372. The little saws are great because you can run them all day and not get too worn out Unlike a big saw. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Stihl MS261 or Husqvarna 545?

Yes it will definitely be a big step in the right direction. Your old craftsman I will probably get very little use going forward as it is hard to go back once you run a 550. I like an 18 inch personally. I have tried both 16" and 20" as well. 550 will have no problem pulling a 20 inch bar...

    Stihl MS261 or Husqvarna 545?

I bought a very early 550 XP and have had zero issues with the auto tune or anything else for that matter. I think I've had it about three years now. I also cut primarily pine in elevations similar to yourself (6000-9000 ft) for heating my home. I think you'll come to appreciate The extra "zip"...

    Husky 385

That is a good looking 385. Nice score, Still stock?. Some say the 385 actually takes to porting even better than the 390. I've got both ported, and couldn't tell ya which is faster(so close), Just that both made a big improvement after porting/muf-mod. Mine set to 13,000 max . 12,000-12,500 or...

Want to Sell Timberline Chain sharpener

Selling my gently used timberline sharpener. Comes with 3/16 and 7/32 carbides-(both are in like new condition), Timberline pouch and additional 25°/35° angle guides. I originally purchased this as an accessory for my field chainsaw toolbox, but have found that I seldom used it since I tend to...

    Square ground chain

Yes, Full Chisel chains can be sharpened either round or square profile. Madsen's has a good article worth reading on this: http://www.madsens1.com/bnc_teeth_types.htm Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Square ground chain

Pretty much all I use, but I'm almost always in clean soft pine. If you're working in clean conditions it's hard to beat, but you'll hate it if you're trying to cut skidded logs or wood like cotton wood that has a lot of Sand blown into it bark. I'll usually carry spare chains and swap them out...

    Blaze King "thermometer"

I also have a blaze King princess. The thermostat control I have had stick in both the wide open position, and totally closed. I drilled two small holes in the back of the cover. This will allow you to mechanically free the butterfly that controls the airflow, should it stick on you. This may...

What is your favorite oil for premix ?

Lately I've also been running and Amsoil saber 40:1 for the same reasons as yourself because it's blue and decent oil. I'm Also a fan of H1R , but it's red, so sometimes I'll mix and match 1/2 H1R/saber to end up somewhere between 32 and 40:1. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
