    Dually for Firewood Hauling?

If the frame has not been extended, it probably isn't a dually. A dually will have a wider rear track than a dual wheel ton. I have never seen a dually rear axle under a factory frame of that length. The dually is more stable under load, but the extra width is a problem in town.

Bailey's has the Tiny Tester for $5.99. It's the same concept, they just make it really simple to use. I really like mine.

    I'm fustrated....

Theft can be an issue, but most "lost" package problems are caused by a detached to defaced address label. Always place a shipping label inside any package, attached to the mdse. if possible. If something happens to the package label, the second label will usually get your stuff to the...

    Interesting home built splitter

If my memory serves, that is a 1/2 ton FC 150. I had a four door FC 170 3/4 ton years ago. Had a V8 Chevy engine swap. More fun to look at than drive.

And that muffler is the newer, quieter one. You could check the piston condition without removing the muffler on the older version.

We start them early here in the Wild Wild West

The best memories of my youth involve time spent with my grandad. He knew all about anything that was of real importance. He could fix almost anything and if he couldn't fix it, he built a new replacement. He took all the time needed to answer any and all of my questions. I have a new...

Need an engineer for a quick question

Torque=Force x Distance A 500 lb weight a 12 ft distance will exert 6,000 ft lb of torque. Better have a big tractor to safely lift the equivalent of a 3/4 ton truck.

HELP! Sell my Dolmar 5001 for a Oleo Mac 162?

My understanding is that Efco in the current brand name used in the U.S. They were previously sold as Oleo Mac, Olympk, Alpina, John Deere and probably other brand names. They are probably somewhat like Dolmar, better at building saws than they are at selling them.
