There is a lot of work putting on a competition... The best thing for you to do would be to get in touch with Rick and Penney Halverson. They are the closest competitors I can think of in your area. (great people too)
We run the 562s every day cutting hard Maple grade
logs. Yes I agree they are a great saw. We run ours
in stock form. I think the 8000 would make a heck
of a good 5 cube stock appearing saw. Then it might
be a good 5 cube pipe saw too. Time will tell ;)
That is a good question! I think
Randy,Terry,Scott are all at the
top of the game!! I think with them
3 it would all boil down to the chain
and the wood.
Storage Wars or Auction Hunters contacted
Dennis Cahoon and wanted him to go on
the show. He said no and put them on to
another tree feller on the west coast. Sure
enough they found 2 Mac cart engine saws
In a locker and sold them to the guy that
they originally picked them up from.
Most of the racers use a D ring. It is
all of what you are used to. We use
a piece of rubber gas line over the
cord with the original handle on the
top. It is easier to get the handle to
stand up that way.
The 3120 is a big saw and heavy. Do we
work them in the woods?? No!!! To big of
a saw. But with just a very little work you
would not believe what kind of an animal
they turn into. We use them for practice
motors to prepare for the races.
