    Jonsered 621 Question

There are difference within the 621 models based on earlier or later production. The cases are stamped "N" or "N1" for the earlier or later productions respectively. The designation is found above the fuel cap on the case and inside the starter cover. The starter cover of the "N" will not fit...

Jonsered 621 serial numbers to identify model year

Thanks! I noticed there is a N1 case and N1 labeled starter housing on the newer 621 version vs the earlier "N" version. What specific differences besides the starter housing shape difference is there? Thanks boys!!! /

Jonsered 621 serial numbers to identify model year

Jonsered 621 It would be great if original owners of 621's would post the year model (or more accurately the year of purchase) of their 621 and it's serial number for collector research purposes. Thanks! Also.... best source for parts, tuning information for the 621

    Another which saw

The prices you quoted for a new saw seem around $100.00 too low? I would check again, someone must of made a mistake on pricing them? You can't buy a new 460 in CT for less than $939.00 less tax. 660's are over 1K less tax.

    Another which saw

The 441 and the 460 weigh the exact same, look it up. The 460 has .5 more horses than the 441 and takes up to a 32" bar.

Is the Stihl 441 more popular than the 460? Sure seems like it here.

441 lame higher technology vs 460. Smaller saw, same weight, less HP! Newer technology in the wrong areas unless you log for a living. I don't worry about how much gas I use in my chainsaws... weak area of concern for most, important if you are worried about global warming I guess. Lets...

    Log Splitter needed

I strongly suggest you at least look at American Log Splitters made in NY State. I've owned model # AM25HH for over 4 years and split every kind of hardwood including a lot of Hickory with ease. They are the most rugged and well designed splitter I've ever seen. I purchased mine for $1900.00...
