Finally pulled the trigger on a new stump grinder

I do. I use a shovel and wheelbarrow. Quite the workout. Same price as grinding job. My trailer has a dump. Still a helluva lot of work. A dingo isn't cheap, and with the cost of all the equipment, it better be cheap. I'm debating one as well. New, you're talking over $100K with no stumps...

Finally pulled the trigger on a new stump grinder

Which dealer? I got mine at Trencher's Plus in Burnsville. The only thing I dislike is the grease zerks on the swing circle not long enough. And change out the pipe on the right side wheel bearing, it'll break. Cap it and put the zerk on the bottom.

Finally pulled the trigger on a new stump grinder

You're gonna love it. My first set of stock teeth lasted just around a year. Been battling with Greenteeth (700s don't work ), 900s might be the trick, otherwise I'm going back to stock teeth. Enjoy the speed, it's about 4 times faster than a 1625. S/F Bob

    G/Teeth Performance Upgrade Kit

I did the Green teeth on stock wheel (great), and then the Green wheel (OK). I also did a study on the difference for school. The higher RPM, due to a change in pulleys, is the ticket in my opinion. That is the "smoother" running that the testimonials describe. If the upgrade includes a change...

700 series Green Teeth on 2016 RG45X stump grinder

Fellas, GREEN recommends the 700 series! Besides, I had a bunch laying around, with pockets. I totally agree with the Shark, theses 45 HP machines are too much for the 700 series, for a variety of reasons. Dave, most are either chipping the carbide, or ripping it right off. What is the initial...

700 series Green Teeth on 2016 RG45X stump grinder

So I bought a new RG45X last summer. It came with the OEM Rayco Super teeth. Worked great! My old RG1625 Super Jr came with the Super Teeth as well, I converted it to 700 series GT, and then a Green wheel, so I had 18 GT pockets and a bunch on new and used teeth, along with some Super teeth. I...

    whadja do today?

A fifty foot ash, a forty foot pine and a little maple no bigger than Jeff's pecker. You grey beards and younger bucks that cut for a living would have laughed. I had a tight sphincter. Two hours, and the grinder to put tension in the direction I wanted (except Jeff's pecker), trees down. Three...
