    Screamer or Grunter?

My saws have two settings: idle and full throttle. Anything else is just a transition to get to one of those settings. And like Will I was hoping this was a thread about women with pics.

    Help choosing Stihl Kombi

Anyone with updates on their firsthand experience over the last month? I'm on the fence between the 94 and 131; the 94 is probably suitable for my homeowner needs but more power never hurt anyone. Thanks in advance.

    Scrounging Firewood (and other stuff)

Haven't posted anything in a while. About 9 truckloads of fresh cut oak. Should be able to split and stack it by this time next week.

    Best Penetrating Oil?

Go to your local airport and ask a mechanic to buy a bottle. Aircraft Spruce also sells it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Spices/Dry Seasonings

I don't go into spice shops but the Penzey Spices catalog and website is really good. Not cheap junk but quality spices. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    KABOOM!! Oh No, My Truck!!!

I thought this was going to be a Ram frame twisting and glass shattering story. I'm glad you are safe. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Using Chaps to Wrap the Bar

If I'm spending $100 on a pair of quality chaps I'm not about to wrap them around a sharp chain. A scabbard is fine for me unless I'm missing something. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How much would you pay for a DR kinetic splitter?

Save up and buy the real deal. Like others, I've only heard good things about the SS and personal experience on some DR products, especially warranty support, would lead me to shun most of their products.

Is this the same Canadian auto center that Everyone in Canada talks about?

It sounds like Canadian Tire is the Great North's version of Town Fair Tire in the northeast. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How are the HF Predator engines working out ?

I put a 5.5 hp model on a previously electrically powered Kemp chipper/shredder and then sold it a year later. I still see it getting used in town 5+ years later. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Storing/stacking Euro sized wood

You are blessed with it. In my stove the smaller pieces are easier for my wife to handle and I separate pieces between larger and smaller ones. I've tried stacking smaller ones in a four-sided 'box' (like a kid's fort) and then tossing the loose pieces into the center. The pile always falls...

    wheelbarrow vs 4 wheel cart

I've found that unless it's relatively flat ground, my small cart tips or wobbles and with the handle there isn't much counter action I can make. I have a larger 10 or 12 sq ft wheelbarrow which is easier for me to maneuver. In cold temperatures I just have to be careful of the brittleness of...
