    Fastest chainsaws in each class?

10cc ? :wtf: I liked the band but not so sure i would like a 10cc saw all that much! :D

    NOS Husky 346xp?

What he said. :numberone: I owned a OE many moons ago and now have 2 NE saws. One is kinda stock but the other has a muff mod and a base gasket delete. It really cuts well above its weight. (Please find gratuitous saw pic below) :D

    jonsered 2245 disappointment

Damn shame as my 2245 is probably the saw that has surprised me the most. I would honestly sell one of my Dolmar 5105's or a 346XP before i sold this 2245. I can tell almost no difference between it and my kinda stock 346XPNE. Clutch setup is no different to any other outboard Husky i have ever...

Want to Sell NIB Husky Chainsaws

What no brand new in box 288XP's, 262XP's or 357XP's? DOH! :omg: :wtf: Threads titled with "NIB Husky" always get my imagination running wild!

Want to Trade dolmar 5100s plus $ for 550xp

I have used the 5100 in the past and currently own 2x 5105's and 2x 346xp's and a ported 550xp. Have lots of time on stock 550xp's also Despite having so many top 50cc pro Husky saws I still use the 5105's quite a lot. Depends what i am doing. The better inside and outside spikes on the Dolmar...

    Mcculloch pro Mac 610

I have one and keep it for sentimental reasons, but rarely if ever use it. Very slow revving and very heavy. The same cannot be said for my 30+ year old Pro Mac 700. That puts a smile on my face every time i use it. If you can afford the $25 and feel the need go for it. Just don't expect to be...

    Sold Ported XPW 75cc

Great saw from a great guy to deal with. GLWS. If i had not bought myself so many saw related presents before Christmas, i would be all over this. :baba: My 365XT from Dustin that was modded into a 372 is still going strong after probably 40+ tanks through it by now. Makes a mockery of...

    I picked up a New 357XP, today.

Nice score there Jon! :baba: I would settle for a beat up and well used saw for that price over here. $375 for a shiny new one with a missing bar nut and oil cap is just plain crazy. :envy: I have several saws i have picked up lately that i should add to the "you suck thread", but i would trade...

Best bar and size for ported 562xp

20" 3/8 Tsumura light and tough. Fantastic bar and a perfect size for this saw in my opinion.

    Echo CS-590 for $175....should I?

Anyone actually know what the Echo official Hp figure is for the 590? Guessing from using them that it is around 4 Hp. I know Echo doesn't readily publish these figure but certain countries Echo websites did have the specs at one time or another but i can't remember now what it was? :( After...

    Echo CS-590 for $175....should I?

Do not ask, just go and get it. Then post some "i suck" photos for all to see the great saw you got for so little $. I suck also by the way as i got a brand new 590 but without the original box for under $300 US delivered to me here in Australia! :surprised3: I know i still can't...

    Muffler mod

My 550xp that was ported by Terry has had a muff mod done. Just seems to be opened up at the deflector and i would say it has been gutted and opened up inside as well. Really runs strong. Almost no difference in cutting speed alongside my 372xt. 372 has an opened up muffler also. 550xp has a 325...

What spark plug for Husky 254

Yeah the NGK's are my go to plugs right now. Them or the Bosch WSR6F (i think thats the right model?). The Denso plugs are great but for me here they suddenly went up by almost a couple dollars per plug from my supplier and that it just too expensive for me.

    my dads old 111!!

Looks good and ready to go and do some cutting! Big cc and HP difference compared to a 372XP. Not surprised the 372 cuts faster. I have a 111i (Makita version DCS520i) and also recently acquired a very low hours Dolmar 115i. They are very well constructed saws and also cut very well, especially...

PILTZ: Master HOT SAW builder (...not)

Dust is the right word. Those saws of his sure wont be throwing many chips.

PILTZ: Master HOT SAW builder (...not)

"Saw chain is not proprietary to any make or model of saw, that means any saw CAN run any saw chain. Regardless of whether it may or may not be advisable to do so any chain can be made to fit any saw." And here i was thinking that the manufactures like Stihl and Husky recommended maximum bar...

PILTZ: Master HOT SAW builder (...not)

Wow that is such a stupid statement that it is almost comical. No arguments here that a pro faller will get more timber on the ground quicker. It's a no brainer. They are cutting where the trees are selected for size and quality usually far away from peoples houses and properties, while an...

What spark plug for Husky 254

+1  for Denso plugs. Same for me, in any equipment i have run them in I have had zero problems and zero dud plugs new out of the box. Had many duds new out of the box with Champion and Oregon branded ones. My 2 cents is stick with Denso and alternatively Bosch or NGK.

    Want to Sell 357xp

Wow, real nice saw here. Ran one once and it left a lasting impression. Always been after one since actually. :baba: That plan to get a ported Jonny 2260 may have to wait.........
