Can we see your listing? Have you thought about sending buddy an email say whats up. I have done that before just to see what their intentions are or to see if they answer. If I dont get an answer then I remove their bid and block them from bidding.

    Husqvarna 2100 CD or XP

My understanding is that all 2100s are CD saws, 2101/298s are XP saws. Nothing to do with the piston or rings (CD = capacitor discharge). Anyhoo, if I see a 2100 with an airfilter cover it is invariably an XP cover and is cracked. The recoils are typically labelled CD. From my experience...

    Husqvarna 2100 CD or XP

I always assumed that the 2100 CD came with standard ring set and XP came with thin ring piston & rings. I am looking at a 2100 tagged CD and it has the thin ring setup. Would this have been an upgrade or replacement to the saw or did some 2100 CD models come equipped with the thin ring? Thanks...

    Mac 125 Competiton saw

Thanks Dennis. BTW I dont see a decomp on your Mac, do you start it strong arm? Is that pipe similar to mine? How much does one lose by going with a smaller header type of exhaust. Just seems it would be a little less unwieldly. Mark

    Mac 125 Competiton saw

A few more pics as requested. It does have a removeable head. I meant that the head is ported full around (full circle). It also has a shaved flywheel.

    Mac 125 Competiton saw

Thanks to eyolf and huskydave. I am not sure that i would want to compete with this saw but will be making a few cuts with it to see what it can do. I have started it but havent as yet throttled it up into some big but piece of wood.
