    Englander Stove Works

I have a 30-NC that I bought in 2006 from Home Depot during the off season. Got it for $450. Just at the right place at the right time. I love the stove and it heats my 1900 sq ft house easily. I have never had a problem with it. As a matter of fact its running now at about 600 F. :msp_biggrin:

someone had posted a link to Iron and Oak

One of the deciding factors for me was a local dealer who rented out a 20 ton w/ Honda. It took a lot of abuse for many years with no problems. They are well built machines. I would recommend Iron & Oak to anyone looking for a quality splitter.

    How much wood.

4 cord in a wood stove as supplemental to my oil furnace. That keeps the oil bill around $200 for the winter which isn't too bad. The other benefit is that the house is always at 70+ degrees.

    Heating oil price?

I just paid $4.69 a week or so ago on auto fill up. Fortunately it was only 60 gallons to fill the tank. I burned 4 cord last year and plan to try and push it to 5 this year.

    How much wood so far

Just over 4 cords. A few more days and I will be out of wood. There is always next years pile (5 cord) still drying if I really need it.

Chevy guys what brand saw do you run??

I put synthetic (75/90) in the rear differential. Its around $9 a quart. It is what the service manual (03 Silverado) calls for. Regular (80/90) in the front. Synthetic should help you on the rear diff. if you want to stretch the service interval a little. Unless you spend a lot of time in...

Chevy guys what brand saw do you run??

Yes, my manual calls out the same. My problem was that it took a quart to get it to 3/4 inch below the fill plug. Maybe mine was just a fluke. Aaron

Chevy guys what brand saw do you run??

When I checked the differential fluid level it was low. There were no apparent leaks but it was down about a quart. It only holds about 2.5 qts. On one of the Chevy truck sites they said low fluid level from the factory was common. Probably someones idea of a cost savings. Since its...

Chevy guys what brand saw do you run??

Husky's and a 03 Silverado 1500. Almost 85K on the truck with no problems. Everthing is original. Even the tires. Just finally got around to changing the transfer case and front/rear differential oil.
