    solo 656

    Picked one up in Canada and when moving to the UK decided it might be good to be closer to parts etc. Also brought my Efco cs56 another favorite. The Solo needs going through but seems pretty straight. 20 inch bar on both.

    I too have an Efco cs56, and enjoy using it. Recently moved to the UK and hoping parts may be easier to find here IF needed. I also brought a Solo cs56 for the same reason. Both saws have decomp and pro like features.

    How did i "fix" my old 026?

    I agree and I think after market air filters are a culprit. You have to really push the choke lever down to close the choke shutter. Once started mine would start all day long on first pull.

    Husqvarna Sticky!

    Just picked up a 266xp by swapping a small Stihl 015 which cost me about $25. Missing the muffler and the piston was somewhat scored just put in an aftermarket piston and new ring and we'll see how it goes tomorrow. Cleaned up the cylinder with scotchbrite. Has good spark, recoil and a working...
