    low plenum temp you may be moving air thru the plenum to fast...... not picking up enough heat from surface of firebox. Just a thought. to many cfm from blower????

    single 8 inch duct put a "T" in the duct....... Your wood blower will need to run anytime the stove "Plenum" is hot to keep from overheating..

    my converted furnace i did the same with an old energy-mate furnace. wrapped the furnace with 2x4 steel studs..insulated with unfaced r-13 fiberglass..covered with sheetmetal! ive since insul. the heat ducts..cost to build.....$100. doing probly' 95% of my heat load!

    Old homelite sxl-ao

    I inherited an old sxl of my uncles after his passing. its cut most all my firewood this year....heavy...loud..and obnoxious....i love it!!! curious about its age?? i'm thinking he bought it in the early 80's...not sure. UT 100451 SER 4908201XX How did Homelite date code them???

    longwood stove???

    Anyone have a manual for a longwood stove? a friend is trying to set one up for wood only. how will that work if at all. could i get a manual emailed to me?? My first winter burning wood as well...learning alot on here!!! i'm using an outside forced air stove...so far so good!
