I think this was just a wierd winter, because a lot of people I work with had flooded basements also.Super cold ,then warm ,and the water cant disapate and backs up.

I like to put 1 or 2 or 3 BIG rounds and fill with smaller stuff.Kind of a delay, when the smaller stuff is used up the bigger ones kick in.

Im running a 20" with .325 chain.It pulls well but I think it would like an 18" better.

How do you check the % of humidity in the house?

oops! I forgot to mention I have an outdoor boiler and it pulls the air to be heated straight from outdoors.

Right now I have a small (about 1 gallon) steamer for like colds. But I have hard water and it plugs up every 2 days. Cleaning with CLR every couple of days is a pain and expensive.Can Anyone recomend a bigger humidifyer that works well with hard water.

My dad has one (wood pellet or corn) and it is alot cheaper than paying the utility company. Plus alot of the wood comes from sawdust from multiple sources as garbage to them.I had one for a year but it was too rich for my blood when I can burn for free.But still better than them natural gas...
