Was using my ms250 last night and i went to engage the brake and disengage it and when i pushed it forward to engage it the black brake handle melted to the top of the muffler. Couldn't get them apart so finished with another saw. Anyone ever heard of this happening? What would cause the handle...

I noticed the same exact thing on mine this year.

I have a daka 521fb wood furnace in my barn and it always seems like the fire is starving for air. It does not have an ash door dial inlet like the englander wood furnace i have in my house. I would like to add one. Anyone else have this furnace or know a good way to add one?

Guys is it safe to use tar around the double wall chimney pipe where it comes out of the roofing? Or is it possible to catch on fire?

thanks guys i will not use a "T". ill just have to pull the 90 off next to the stove when i sweep the chimney.

also, is there any issue with me using a "T" out the back of the oven for the stove pipe instead of a 90deg? I would like to use a "T" with a cap on bottom, so clean out is easy.
