Poulan leaf blower not getting fuel to carb

The way you described it is correct. Primer bulb pulls fuel from the tank thru the filter into the carb. You should then have a line from carb to bulb, then a line from bulb to tank which returns fuel to the tank. It’s okay for the return line to not extend down into fuel.

    Anti Vibe Gloves

I’ve had good results with the padded anti-vibe leather gloves from Home Depot or Lowes—it’s been a couple years since I bought them. I actually had to switch to a Husqvarna 525L line trimmer because of it’s very advanced anti-vibe grip. My right hand (throttle hand) was going numb. The...

    Husqvarna 323L

Are you sure you have the gas lines hooked up correctly? Also, put a few drops of fuel mix in sparkplug hole, install and connect sparkplug and see if it will fire. If it fires, you have a fuel problem. It shld have around 120 psi compression, but shld run with a 100 or so. These are great...

    Stihl string trimmer replacement head

If you use much line, it can get expensive with this head. The SpeedFeed 400 is what I’m now using—very easy to load, feeds good.

    Stihl string trimmer replacement head

SpeedFeed heads work great, easy to load. Most of the commercial guys around here use them.

    Sthil FS-80 Drive shaft

If switching from flex shaft to solid shaft, make sure it will fit into the clutch drum and gear box. Not familiar with Stihl, but most other brands, the flex shaft is square shaped on the end, solid shafts are splined. A new gear box head is not cheap and changing the clutch drum is somewhat...

    Echo CS330t--rebuild or not?

Sorry, can’t help you with that question—I installed a complete new shortblock.

    Echo CS330t--rebuild or not?

If you’ll do a search, you might find a better explanation than I can give. The intake is not open to the full size of the opening on carb—it has a build up of plastic inside the intake. I used a dremel and grinding stone and opened it up. Had not run my CL locked up purchase/new short block...

What brand of 2 stroke oil are you using ?

Glad to hear the Dolmar works good, I also bought a case while it was really cheap, haven’t used any yet, using up already opened bottles of this and that—mostly Red Armor!

    Stihl FS 55 R

I see them on Craigslist around Nashville for around $79. Don’t know amount of use. I have one brought to me for repair (new carb), then not claimed that I’m hoping to sell for that amt this spring.

    Gps tracking

The problem with the Milwaukee is that the Milwaukee phone app is the only thing that will track the device and it must be within wi-fi range. In other words, the thief would have to have the Milwaukee app on their phone. I returned all of mine to HD.

    Echo Cs-370

Not answering your question, but I had an Echo 370 for several years, sold it to a friend a couple years ago--wish I hadn't.

    I screwed up...

Take the screw out where you grease the gearbox, put a flat blade screwdriver through the hole and use it to lock the gears. Don't be a gorilla--If you ruin the gears, it gets expensive. Remember the string head has reverse threads--turn opposite way than usual --turn clockwise to loosen!

Stumbled on an Estate sale, which saws should I keep?

I had an Echo CS370, really liked it, decided to sell it a year or so ago, have regretted the decision. Bought it from a pawn shop--almost (if not) new, started easy, ran as it should! I'm always amazed at how brand preduices affects opinions of saws, string trimmers, etc. I'm not a Stihl...

    Echo CS330t Broken Flywheel

I second this suggestion! I also bought one off CL for about the same dollars--locked up engine--straight gas still in tank. I bought a new short block for around $115, now one of my favorite saws!!

    Stihl HS45 carb question

A kit will not have parts to eliminate this issue. I would say new carb or live with it!!

    Ticks

My wife read somewhere that vitamin B-1 repels mosquitoes--been taking 1 pill a day for about a month--working so far, haven't been bitten yet this spring!!

    Stihl trimmer comparison

Don't have either, but read a lot on another forum--the 130 will blow the 91 away--much more powerful from what I read!
