    090G found its way to my shop

    Did some work for a friend of mine and got paid with a really good early 090G with a 3foot roller nose, the 6 foot bar and 1/2 inch chain will make its way home when he finds them in his shop. Does anyone know where to find the parts to change it to rim drive ?

    Wild Thing 15 yr olds birthday gift

    Spark, fire, coil test

    OK, I giveup, well not really I need help, I've been rebuilding a 394XP and seem to have no fire, so what I need to know is how to ck the coil with a multimeter, I'm coming up with Continuity between the coil and any part of the saw, this even with the kill switch disconnected.     I.D.# tag missing on a 2100CD

    I have two 2100CD's that the I.D. plate or tags are missing, from use and or throwing chains . What I want to know is there a way to find out what year they were made? without the plates in place. Cary

    Do you throw it down or set it down?

    Saw something this morning coming in to work , a big tree service outfit here were cutting brush and the cutter would throw or just drop the new MS440 from waist high to the ground or in the brush between cuts when they would clean up.

    RIP 20 Year old 2300poulan

    Well the poor little guy has had it, after about 20 years of firewooding 5-10 cords a year it just wouldnt tune any more tried carb kit,tried a differant carb, checked the reed valve , it was Good, then went deeper, pressure test failed, this is when things got bad chrome missing off the piston...

    394XP has a wet bottom!

    Well one of the my 394's has a fuel leak in the bottom of the tank in the seam, not real bad but a leak is bad no matter how small, any one have a fix for this or is it time to start switching it out? Thanks Cary

    I was talking with a few cutters yesterday and said I wish I could find some parts for a 2100CD just odds and ends, and before I knew it I'm making plans to go help clean out a shop with all kinds of parts saws 2100's, 395's, 390's and 280 we'll see whats good and bad in a day or so...

    I just got done ripping a pickup load of Fir rounds so we can split them, Carefully used the old 175 Canadien, been in the family since 62 been rebld once and still runs strong, any body know where we can get parts for these old saws now? Cary

    125c super pro fuel mix?

    Hi, I'm new to the forums here, I'm trying to find out what the correct mix was with this old Mac 125C , I'v seen 25:1 32:1 40:1 all over the net, I figured I would see if some cutters that used these saws remember the mix , I know 125 SP and 125C SP were not the same. thanks Cary
