I used enloop.com to rough one out then I tweaked it till it fit. I did my LLC through Legalzoom.com. There really is no one size fits all approach, but I was ab,etc to get grants from the Veterans Small Business Association after doing the leg work.

If you own a swisher splitter..Do you like it?

I have the 28 Ton with the 12.5 Brigs Motor. Direct drive w/no belt. I wrap heat tape around it in the winter. Bought if off of their dock in Warrensburg and saved 500 bucks. It has not let me down yet. I still dream of a Timberwolf though... Side note, get the 4 way adapter. It works great...

    Working on the wood lot

I know the pics show small wood, but I routinely run into stuff much bigger. Especially the cull wood I get from the logging company. Bigger saw is needed for a standby. For these trees I am using an MS 250 with a 16" bar.

One of the Amish Guys I know has a 352 Husky. That is what the label says anyway. It is a monster cutting saw.

    Working on the wood lot

The MS310 is where I started, the first time I rebuilt it I used a 390 Cylinder kit. It has been a 390 since. No luck for me with that saw.

    Working on the wood lot

Been working in the Wood Lot. This area was harvested last summer, and I am cleaning up the treetops for firewood. Mostly Red Oak and Hickory. This area will be a 30 acre lake next year so the landowner is letting me harvest all the trees to within three feet above the future waterline. Lots of...

Lost some Friends today over Firewood.

About 2 1/2 years ago I went out on a limb. I asked a local logging company if I could make a deal for their cull logs. After meeting with the owner He promised to keep me in more firewood than I could handle for free. I would be doing him a favor by keeping his lot clear. I cut the logs, and...

Post pictures of your woodpile/splitting area

My Pile I stack mine on an old cement foundation left from a shed that I burned down. There is a drain on the far end of the floor and the whole thing sloes that-away. This pile is freshly split, I just need to stack it. When it is stacked I cover it with a Hay Tarp. I have a deal with a local...
