    this new format

Visually, the new format is just ok. I mostly keep up with the WTF section and since the new format, when I find a picture I want to text to someone, there's no option to send with text message. Can't find a way around it yet. There is an icon to share, but no option for texting.

Husqvarna 128LD Edger Races/Runs only on Half Choke.

I have a 128LD and broke the fragile choke lever on the carb, I ordered a chinese carb, don't remember the price but was really cheap. I was skeptical, but it has been running without a hiccup.

    New Husqvarna Combi Can

Could you tell how you took it apart, my gas spout is sticking and won't spring closed sometime when I lift it. Something inside the nozzle is sticking and I can't figure how it comes apart. I really like the can otherwise and seems to be tough.

hemostats for chainsaw repair or other use

I have a straight and a curved hemostat set and find them really useful, changing the fuel filter on the tractor or using them to replace fuel line on a chainsaw. The curved set is handy pulling the chainsaw fuel line into the tank through the fill hole. There might be a better way, but I trim...

026 how many pulls to start?

When I got my 026, it would take 15 to 20 pulls to get a pop. The choke wasn't closing so I bought an oe air filter, that one wouldn't close all the way either so I asked for a different one and it was better. Now it takes 10 to 12 pulls and it pops. I suppose that''s as good as it gets.

dumb beginner ran new saw for 2-3 min with brake on...

Don't know if there's rubber, but if it has an inboard clutch, you were probably smelling really hot plastic. Maybe the crank seal is rubber, if that's what you smelled, it's cooked along with the plastic.
