Echo CS 501P vs Stihl MS 260

You can still buy the Brazil made MS260 and have shipped right to your door by a outstanding member here. Plane shipping is close to 200 so say 400 pho but it is 600 total after that is added to price shipped PHO. His thread is in the classifieds here. @Robin Wood The 501 and 260 are about...

    Attention Poulan 330 owners

14 years ago was last post. So they may not be here now. 330 mostly used HDA-164. IMO just rebuild the one on it unless it is one with valve issue that pops up rarely. HDA-137 was on some 3450 3750 and 380 with 164's too. No they are NLA. Harder to find. Can use the smaller HDA-49 on...

    Jonsered CS2152c

Like Kevin said. Put a real clamp on that saw. That plastic clamp will warp etc some day and cost ya. Either redneck it with metal clamp using what you have left after cutting plastic off or get updated set. Both work. SB info...

    660 ProMag

Thats a new question that was not ask in the beginning. IMO folks are getting the clone 660's for 2-3 shipped. Well worth it to me and owned one of those too. You just have to know how to work on your own saw and trouble shoot things. Most dealers will not touch a clone saw for you. Cut just...

    Most popular pole saw

I bought a echo extendable pole saw PPT-260 many years ago. One reason was it was real 2 stroke. Worked great and go to like 16' . But didnt use it much over the years for homeowner land use. I also bought a manual pole saw and later a battery pole saw for wife. Boy did those save me alot of...

    Nik's Poulan Thread

That site you show has wrong info posted alot of times. Like a 50/50 chance of it being right. Take with a grain of salt and double check everything to be sure. I bet it is 33 like it shows on recoil. But to be sure measure bore to be sure. Just like this WT was sold as 36cc but type 6 and...

    Stihl Flippy Cap solution

I got the biggest laugh when @Andyshine77 did this flippy cap video's years back. I think they had a recall on the caps due to swelling.

    Stihl Flippy Cap solution

I love the husky flip caps. They designed it right with screw tanks still. So you can use old caps or flippy caps. Also designed if ever broke one a flat scrench removes it too.

    Stihl Flippy Cap solution

Local firewood cutters been using these I put on for them. They love them. Used to get them through CCC Racing from Dave. He ordered 1000 Farmertec and sold out. Online place in TX sells them now under name of Proline. Does away with the flippy part at least.
