10mm 044. Everyone knows that's the best saw ever made!

I have a 330 with a gutted muffler and love it! I have beat on it pretty good over the years climbing and it's never given a minutes trouble. Get that muffler opened up and tune it and you will be good for years to come.

I'm just gonna run mine and see what happens. Adirondack, if you got some running with 5 plus gallons through them that's good enough for me. I hope to be able to beat on it some in a couple weeks. I will report back.

Now yall got me wanting to run mine just to see what happens. I got no problem being a guinea pig.

What are the consequences of this? The cylinder is going to hold the piston in place and the crank will hold the rod won't they? Is it a problem with the needle bearing sliding out to one side or something? I could see that causing a problem.

I just put one in my 10mm 044 but have yet to put it to work. Just a couple warm up cycles is all. You have my interest, what did you find? Surely Mastermind has been installing them in 044s , maybe he will chime in.
