    What chain works best for noodling hardwood

    I cut firewood with a MS 362 using either a 20 or 24 inch bar. I occasionally noodle big hardwood rounds and am finding that my chains dull really quickly. I have been using full chisel or semi chisel and neither one stays sharp long. Is there a type of chain that stays sharp longer for this?

    anybody ever mill black locust?

    Just wondering if any of you folks out there have milled black locust. What kind of lumber is it? What does it look like? and any other things you could say about about it would be interesting to know.

    ms 270C

    Hey folks, I just "won" a ms270C off of ebay. Seems like it will probably be a good runner. My question is how hard is it to change that goofy a** toolless chain tensioning system to the regular type? :msp_confused: I may wish to MM and port this saw also, :D so any comments about these...
