Yes and between her and the two boys, she still spends more time in the wood shop. Came home for C-mass this year, I am making an end grain cutting board for a present, because she saw her boyfriend looking at them and remarking he wanted one, but they are very expensive. Cherry and spalted...

    Scrounging Firewood (and other stuff)

I just realized this was a super scrounge! This tree fell and hit my house! It wiped out my grill, patio furniture, stair railing etc. Insurance guy was nice and paid me $500 for tree clean-up, besides replacing our stuff. That means I got paid for cutting up close by free wood. Now that is...

    Milled Wood Sales:

I have sold some wood over the years, typically to people I know. The specialty items sell best. Someone is looking for 4" section for a mantle etc. I even sold 4" X 4" blanks to a guy making baseball bats. It is hard to just cut a lot of stock and then match up to what someone wants. If there...

It is not a Norm router station, it is my workbench. It was on old Masonite topped POS, I threw some 3/4 plywood on it, screw nice oak on all edges, laminate over the whole thing, route the oak/laminate for final trim and it makes a real clean surface.

Great looking wood for sure. I like the 084 sitting on the tree. I am going to miss mine, I packed it up today shipping to Quietfly today. I'm sure he will be posting some pictures pretty soon.

    Sold MMWS 064

I emailed Randy today and he explained the non pop up. Probably a bad choice of words by me. I meant extra machine work for compression, which Mastermind does. My ignorance on the subject.

    Sold MMWS 064

I have seen Randy do different things to different saws and I was curious about any compression mods. Simply setting the squish or has this saw had the more extensive pop up piston treatment? Thanks.
