    OFB, what you stole was one of the finest saws of its time, plus you got a relitivly clean blue one which usually bring a premium as the blue ones are getting rare. Clean it up and show us some more detailed pics, you might just want to shelve that one and pick up a beater for regular...

    Copper grease! Any experience?

    I use stuff called Copper Safe for electrical connections, powderd copper in an electrically conductive grease. Good stuff, plus it repeats everywhere, misuse it and youll be finding it allover for weeks.:dizzy:

    Thats kind of what I was thinking as it was a mercy buy in the first place. The guy sold me both this and a Homey 410 for $30, I couldnt leve the lil thing out in the cold..... The homey rips, so theres my money right there.:cheers:

    Could be the idle stop screw, too lean on the L screw or a bad clutch spring. .
