I bought a used machine. Started replacing pockets and teeth but former owner must have run the machine with loose bolts. This caused the holes to elongate any ideas? Thanks Keith

    carlton 6500 no info.

I just bought a low hour older carlton 6500 stump cutter. This is my problem, Carlton's web site doesn't list any info on this machine, I need to know the tooth arrangement on the cutter wheel, 32 cutters. Who ever owned it removed all the cutters. Any help truly appreciated. Keith

600 ft. spool of safety blue

Five 120 footers? Na too short for the trees around hear. Three 200 footers? A lot of rope 85' trees. So my question is, what lengths do I make the ropes that will be practical and have no waste? Personally I think they have to make the spools longer than 600 ft. Any ideas?

Husqvarna 372 totally stumped with pictures

And The Beat Goes On it keeps getting better. I get to saw up and running runs pretty good for about 6 minutes. Then it starts like backfiring through the carburetor and exhaust, Just Like A Pufffff sound. And then stopped running. Nothing I could do but laugh and check for spark and there was...

Husqvarna 372 totally stumped with pictures

No I posted the problem, the ring locator pin vibrated out and cought the intake port on the down stroke and ripped up on top of the piston, you can see the tear or hole in on of the pics. I just finished putting the second jug and piston on, seems fine now. I might throw it up on ebay and cut...

    Craigslist laughs?

I give away alot of cut and split firewood, over 12 cords last winter. If a man needs to heat his home and he is a little down you gotta do the right thing. They have to pick it up, and I hate thieves had to install cameras, last winter.

I run 50:1 mix. My storys gonna get a little better. I had a jug and piston kit, from meteor siting on the shelf.I Break the saw down and begin rebuild. The merteor kit comes with very small c clips, not the kind that go all the way around with a center piece that you can grab with needle nose...

Husqvarna 372 totally stumped with pictures

I didn't call the saws junk, I kinda liked them. Great power, responsive, and handle locations for perfect for me. But the muffler bolts, top cover screws, chain brake bolt, even the head bolts came loose! The second one isn't as bad only the muffler bolts and chain break bolt has come loose. I...

Husqvarna 372 totally stumped with pictures

I think your right on the locator pin. The pin on the intake side vibrated out a hair, caught the side of the intake opening and ripped up into the top of the cylinder. I can't compare it to a new piston, the meteor replacement piston only has 1 ring, is this normal?

Husqvarna 372 totally stumped with pictures

I own two of these saws and will never buy one again. Why you ask? They vibrate apart, I answer. This one has me totaly stumped, have no idea. The saw started rattling, I'm thinking to myself wtf is it now and kept on going praying the thing would explode. Thats how pissed I am with this model...
