    Mac 610????

I'm a husky/ Stihl guy mainly. Anyway got a chance to but a Mac610. Its in immaculate condition, I mean maybe 3hrs run time total. My question is cc's, reliable, max bar, what's it worth? The saw looks big but the guy only had a 16" bar on it. I'm wondering what to offer the guy without...

    011AVT will not run sideways???

Fuel line good, new carb kit from Stihl, good spark, good comp., runs awesome vertical. Turn it sideways and it bogs and dies. I'm seriously tired of fooling with this P.O.S. And it does it full of fuel. Any thoughts???

    028 wb dumpin fuel????

Fixed that sucker. The carb kit came with three different, what I thought were identical gaskets. One was different. Long story short I found the different one first. Saw runs great now.

    028 wb dumpin fuel????

Just put a new carb kit, intake boot and impulse line on my Buddy's 028. The thing dumps fuel every time I try to start it. I've adjusted the metering lever I swear 15 times now with no change. I've checked n rechecked my gaskets n spacers for correct placement. I've cleaned the carb. I've...

    stihl chainsaw problem

Stump cutting is hard on equipment. Especially home owner saws. I like using at least a 70cc saw for stumps with a semi chisel chain. Yes I would go with a pro saw because most models seem to have higher output adjustable oilers. I'd look for a good used 460 put a 25" on it and don't look back.

MS-362 Muffler Mod - pics and info

Dam y'all are harsh. But I do agree on the hack job done. Makes me feel like a MM pro. To the OP don't let these guys get u down what they are, are chainsaw pros. Four months ago I had never ripped into a chainsaw or a simple muff mod and now I do full rebuilds without blinking all from...

    Typical 394xp compression???

He means its bad a$$ nasty and it wants to rip your balls out throat and show you who the boss is. Probably has port work and some other goodies done to it.

    Typical 394xp compression???

I think they run higher than 145 because most my smaller saws run about 150psi and I start them without the decomp. There is no way I can start my 394 without the decomp. I haven't checked its compression but I bet is close to 190psi. Its a beast!

    Thin gasket or pop-up piston

I wonder why they do manufacture high compressing piston kits for saws? They make em for everything else. I'm talkin same distance form skirt to the top of the piston but just with a little dome in the center. I know there would be a ton to make but maybe just offer them for pro saws.

    Worn piston ring

Does the 350 have the same dia. as the 50. The second ring they gave me seems to be the correct dia. its just thick as hell. It closes tight to the ring gap pin but still hangs a hair out of the piston.
