I need a new pole pruner.

Wow. Zip, zero... This forum sure used to be awesome. Now... Not so much I guess. Miss the good old days here.

I need a new pole pruner.

Howdy y'all. I haven't been around here in some time but I could use your suggestions for a new pole pruner. I live on a cliff and do a fair amount of work keeping the view cleared. A couple times each year I hack down the honeysuckle and trim the lower branches of the trees. I have a Stihl HT...

    Ebay carburetors

I’ve used close to 2 dozen so far. Of which only 2 were outright unusable. One Walbro clone for a Redmax was assembled incorrectly but was salvageable. Never could get the Zama C1Q Clone to idle down. I swapped a known good carb on to prove it wasn’t due to other issues, then got a genuine Stihl...

I suspect she could fix Bluetooth or blueballs.

Welders can fix dang near anything.

    Chemical burns from gasoline.

I don’t believe it’s the gasoline so much as the additives. The cocktail of **** that passes for pump gas these days is outright toxic. The chemicals added in the interest of reduced exhaust emissions is a racket. I’m willing to wager that while these additives reduce the emissions we measure...

    Chinese Decomp valve..your thoughts?

Oems are bad enough, many remove and plug those. Cheap knockoffs are like playing with fire.

    Screamer or Grunter?

Please feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken, but shouldn't anywhere else be running rich due to throttle position indicating acceleration anywhere between idle and WOT?

    Screamer or Grunter?

With the design of the carbs on most any chainsaw there's only two positions the fuel and air are mixed correctly. Wide open, and idle. Everything in between is a compromise and generally should be rich.

    Sold Homelite Super EZ Automatic

If that was my grandpas saw the connection of a tool he'd used would be worth more to me than the monetary value of a super easy. The value of the smile it'd give me to use it on occasion would be hard to put a number on. Good luck with the sale or whatever you choose to do.

    4 mix questions?

Early Stihl models had crap throttle response, they've gotten better. Still not like a 2-smoke but way better.

    lets see them motorcycles

Thank you! I looked at a lot of them before I bought this one, she's a 2000 model with 26,000 miles and seems to have been well cared for. Most practical bike I've owned already. Fun, fast enough, and can grab a couple bags of groceries on the way home from work without any drama or yoga...

    lets see them motorcycles

Picked up this old girl today. Wanted one for a long time and the opportunity finally came along. Bit of a top heavy pig when the tank is full (7.5 gal.) on a parking lot, but actually quite nimble as soon as she's rolling. I'm looking forward to putting some miles on her soon, hopefully going...

    Amazing

Not sure what you're seeing that I don't... but that tree fell exactly where I thought it wanted to, only oddity was the roll it did. But the roll didn't have much effect on where it went (if any).

    Porting

I've determined the earthquake needs no such boost. Hell theyre already seismic. Wild thang it is then.

    Porting

That 6-71 stuff is "old school". I'm working out the bugs on an intercooled twin turbo. Clearly the only saws that could handle all that is either a 10-10 or a Wild thang.

John Deere survivor, nothing runs or weighs like a Deere.

Thankfully they apparently didn't have many pallets.
