I have had a few Vermeer 630's over the years. fuel pick-up tube have been breaking at top of tank. Use an electric fuel pump and try taking fuel right directly out of tank. Good Luck

Bearings are not that expensive if you take the old bearings to a bearing company like Motion Ind. Or get the number off and check on line. Must be same number . Good Luck

I had the same problem with a Vermeer 630B quite a few years ago. The fuel pick-up came loss from top of tank so pump could not pick up the fuel. Try a electric fuel pump from a gas can and if it run good you know it is in pickup tube. Good Luck

After I sold my Tree Service I bought chippers and stumpers and rebuilt and sold them. Quite a few times the fans were bad, Just went to auto parts store and picked them up cheap money

I always had atleast a 12' chipper body on like a Ford F-700. I won't go with anything smaller. They are never big enough. That way you can haul anything like a full load of logs

I always had two stumpers an large 80HP diesel and small one about 35Hp that would go through a 36" garden gate.

I have had been in spray business for years. But can't remember when to use dormant oil for scale. Would it best to spray after the tree blooms ? I started spraying with Dad at 12 years old with the good stuff. Now at 81 starting to forget things. thanks for any help.

Most auto parts places have universal fans, should be able to find one, take old one with you.

I have had a few vermeer 630 A and b's They are a tow behind machine but do a great job. Make sure it has a 37 HP wisc. motor. Can tow around with lawn tractor. Up this way you can get a good used for $1,500 to $3,00. Can use it for you project and sell for what you PAID FOR IT.

Should be a regular Mopar starter. take it to any auto parts store and they get you one. I always go to Advance Auto as it has lifetime warranty.
