    firewood tractors

I got it from Northern Tool in Knox when it was on sale a couple of years ago. I can count on one hand how many rounds it would not split...and two of them were in these last 20+ cords. On all of those a re-position got it done, so I have to give it a 9 out of a 10. What it needs is a automatic...

New kinetic splitter launched by Split Second Log Splitter

Split second, I say pick a couple of AS members to T&E your product in return for a complete evaluation w/video. I'm not talking about a few weekend splitters, but the guys that make their living at it and can put some real hours on your machine.

    firewood tractors

I have the forks on the FEL, so I pick up the logs, set them at waist height and cut from each end alternating so the logs stays balanced. I am just finishing up on 20+ cords....I love my tractor/splitter/loader :)

    MS192

My 192T is my favorite saw so it gets used all the time. Had a similar problem, checked the lines & filter(good) took the carb off and put a kit in it...same issue. Took the carb back off and put in the ultra sonic cleaner for 40 min with two different solutions that 95% of the time clear a...

    3 hours down the tube......

Yes...it was a Denso....it has been in the 361 for a loooong time. I had one new Bosh left in my parts box...runs much better now.

    first saw in months

Nice find...long saw dry spell here too. Hell, my local honey hole pawn shop has even been out of Coleman lanterns forever which is really odd. I guess I have to start hitting the flea's but every time I see a decent saw at one it's next to a placard that has the current ounce Gold price on it.

Wagner, it was not a Bosh......crap it's down at the shop...started with a "D". I bought the saw used 5-6 years ago and never really looked at the plug.

    3 hours down the tube......

Good way to look at it...if not for the spark plug I would not have noticed the muffler and just kept running it.............would not have ended good. I have never seen an insulator break like that...real odd that it was sliding back and forth creating interrupted spark.

    3 hours down the tube......

So I really didn't think the carb was related to the stumble...but there is alway hope. Nope....it still stumbled. So did a quick breakdown and cleaned out the carb. Diaphram's looked decent, so I just put it back together....same issue. Back apart, replaced the diaphram's...same issue. took it...

    3 hours down the tube......

Just got done helping a neighbor C&S about 8 cords: I have about 11-12 cords to do and started on the los today. My 361 was running fine, then I swear I heard something clog the carb...it started to stumble. Let it idle for a few, start a cut, half way through it would start stumbling again...

    End of the trail

Dementia and her sister Alzheimer are really hard on everyone. My mom died after 6 years of Alzheimer's disease so I completely understand the torment part. My thoughts are with you Bro...stay busy, and stay tough.

Hwo to get rid of poison Ivey?

Sheesh the woods here are carpeted with the stuff. I don't think fly overs with a C130 spraying 100% Roundup would put a dent in it. I just live with it, wear gloves and try and stay out of it as much as possible. I'm in year 6 here and so far no real issues.

    It's Lyme Season Again

Chris, thanks for the reminder. They are really bad here and we were even pulling them off 2 months ago. I have pulled three this week that had just "embedded". They zero in on the head and I still have my hair, so finding them or seeing a bite rash is impossible. Being diligent in picking them...
