    Husqvarna 2100 Carb Settings

The saw still has a miss in cut after fixing a bad spark plug boot and replaced the spark plug. Tried pulling the flywheel but it won't move. Put a turkey foot puller with 3 screws threaded down into the flywheel and crushed multiple washers on the screws trying to pull the flywheel. We tried...

    Husqvarna 2100 Carb Settings

It's not just the "4 stroke" sound. I've got another 2100 and I know what it's suppose to sound like and this one sounds different. Just a slight miss in cut. I was thinking about plugging the governor and tuning it. I probably run my older saws a little rich just to be safe and I test them in...

    Husqvarna 2100 Carb Settings

I always set my carbs to the standard setting to start then tune later. The saw also has a slight miss here and there in cut...change the spark plug and check the ignition? I know there's no adjustment of the gap between your flywheel and ignition but maybe the ignition has a screw loose...

What's the most impressive saw you've ever run?

Stihl 044 would be my most impressive because of its power to weight ratio, durability, and versitility. Just think about how many 044s are around today...lots! And 9 out of 10 people will say that a 044 is a great saw. Along with an impressive performance you also have to think about an...

What does F/W generally cost per cord in your area ?

I sold red fir for $160 and tamarack for $180 per cord split but not delivered. I did delivered a few cords to a guys close by just because I'm good friends with him and he paid my extra for the firewood and delivering.

    Ethanol/Alcohol killing saws

I've seen the ethanol destroy some carb insides and the carb itself on saws and on some honda motors used to pump fuel products.

I knew the oil cap on my 2100 has a vent on it but I didn't know the gas cap did...I thought thats what the tank vent was for :S and your right I can't figure an oil cap because mine is leaking and the gasket looks good.

    Skip Chain !!!

West coast guys (me included) like full skip chains because of the softwoods and longer bars we use. The full skip is extremely fast in softwoods and has great chip clearance like you mentioned. East coast guys like full comp for hardwoods. Full skip chains are more dangerous because the can...
